Known. A Roman house was found under a school gym.
The school is near the Colosseum in Rome. The house dates to the mid-second century AD. It is called the Domus Liceo Cavour. The rooms still have red walls, paintings, and mosaics. One floor is a black mosaic of large tiles. When the school building was put up in 1895, workers found a lead water pipe. It names a senator, L. Fabius Gallus, and later a woman named Umbria Albina.
The page calls them the likely owners. It does not say what else is still argued.
