Known. Six solid gold bracelets were found near a forest track.
The place is near Rold, in Himmerland, northern Denmark. They date to about AD 900 to 1000. Together they weigh 762.5 grams. This is the third largest Viking Age gold find recorded in Denmark. Some bracelets are twisted. Some are smooth. None were cut up to spend.
The page says they may have been hidden in a hard time, or laid down in a rite. The full meaning is hard to know now.
