Known. A gold brooch turned up after a weak metal-detector signal.
The page places it in Denmark, and gives no town. It is from the mid-6th century AD, and about 1,500 years old. It is about four centimetres long, with circles set in a tight pattern. It is thought to be a short-arm fibula, a pin for clothes. An iron pin on the back is badly rusted.
The page says the shapes on it are still open to reading.
